Some jobs ask you to take a personality test for employment. They are the most stupid things on the planet. What are they looking for when you answer these things? some of the questions are too personal in my opinion. Such as, do you feel you should’nt have close friends because you dont want to become too attached? That is a very personal question that i fell they have no right to ask.
BE yourself. Don’t let them get to you, because presenting yourself as someone else can lead to complications :). I too agree these tests are very invalid and are far too sketchy.

So my friend took the IQ test and most of it seemed like unfamiliar material. He is a good student, all A student in high school, has a respectable SAT score (1970) and is a good leader in his community. He took the IQ test and made a 95 on it which for his age is supposed to be bad. Now according to the scale he is really upset and depressed.
What advice can I give to my friend to calm him down?
What kind of iq test did he take? If it was one proctored by your school, or a psychiatrist, then your friend’s IQ is slightly below average. All this means, is that his intelligence quotient is a bit below average. He might have to study harder, or take more time to learn some things. However, since he is performing well in school, he obviously does not have a problem. The only thing this really means, is that he won’t be accepted to MENSA.
However, I assume that your friend took one of those internet based tests, or maybe one out of a magazine. These tests are ALL scams. They do not provide you with anything resembling a real score, and can be safely ignored.
IF he did take a real test, and did poorly on it, most likely he is just a poor test taker, and cannot handle unfamiliar situations. There is nothing wrong with this, and in either case, your friend can safely disregard whatever score he received. IQ scores won’t alter your life in any way.

Online iq tests are not accurate. They don’t agree with the real tests and give everyone high scores, often ridiculously high. Sorry, that’s not your IQ. How can I tell? You had to ask us. If you had taken a real IQ test from a psychologist, they would have explained your score to you. On a real IQ test, the average is 100, and less than 1% of the population would score 132 or higher. Everyone gets those kinds of scores on internet IQ tests, because they’re fake (and many are just scams to get your phone number).

i just want to know what age i have to be to take this test and on what site i can take this test. (and if there even is such a test) if there is no such thing, where can i take a legitimate, respectable IQ test online?
You can’t. The real iq tests (Wechsler, SB) are not offered online. You must take them in person from a licensed psychologist. That can cost hundreds of dollars. Ask your school or doctor to recommend one.
